Working Out Equals Weight Loss? Uh!


In this week’s Pretzel Dad’s Den, Scott shared an article with us from the New York Times on the positive effects excercise has on body weight.  Sounds simple enough right?  Well, new information is throwing the simplicity of this notion for a loop.  The article states that while many gym-goers hit the treadmill to shed unwanted pounds, “without significantly changing their diets, few succeed.”  Sorry ladies, but we seem to have an additional hurdle to overcome in the battle against the bulge.  A study conducted by the Pennington Biomedical Research Center shows that excercise actually increased appetite for women and hence caloric intake.  Read the entire article HERE and get active!
